Adding a new product to your skin care routine is always somewhat nerve-racking. The last thing anyone wants is to buy a new product that will break them out or change their skin in a negative way. But, being the skin product junkie that I am, I decided to jump on the oil-cleansing bandwagon.
I spend a lot of time perusing the Memebox website and when I got the email that all orders over the past weekend would receive free shipping, I decided to get a few things. One of those items was the Banilla Co. Clean it Zero Makeup Remover. This is a type of cleanser that I'v never used before- it's an balm that turns into an oil as you wash your face.
The oil came in this adorable pink and orange box (which I will definitely be keeping) and came with a sanitary spatula and a divider that fits between the oil and the lid. I love the idea of having a spatula because I don't have to stick my hands into the jar, which could easily add unwanted bacteria to the oil. Something you don't want to do to a product that you're using to CLEAN your face.
This product was voted as one of Korea's Allure Magazine's Editor's Picks and is hypoallergenic. It claims to dissolve the most stubborn makeup and remove any impurities from your skin while keeping your skin's essential oils in tact. It's formulated with various extracts and vitamins like papaya extract and Vitamin C, which will leave your skin feeling clean, smooth, and radiant.
According to Memebox, here is how to use it:
Using the provided spatula, scoop a small amount and place on the back of your hand. Then using your ring finger take the product from the back of your hand and dab onto a dry face and massage in up and outward motions. Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry for moisture retention.
I'm so excited to give this product a try because even though I love my handy makeup remover wipes, this oil seems to be able to get off just about all of your makeup. You can buy it here for just $16. I'll keep you guys posted after I use it for a few weeks. Wish me luck!
